SuperStroke Golf Ends Banner Year

At the last official PGA Tour event of 2010, SuperStroke put the icing on their best ever year on the world's professional golf tours. A player using a SuperStroke Slim grip ranked 1st in Putts Per GIR with an average of 1.592 at the Children's Miracle Network Classic. Six total players used a SuperStroke oversized grip at the Disney event, making the company the #1 Jumbo Putter Grip for every PGA Tour event held in 2010.

On the European Tour last week, a former major champion who recently won the Korea Open on the Asian Tour with a Slim grip, ranked T7th in Putts Per Round at the Singapore Open with the jumbo putter grip designed to promote a pendulum stroke.

This year on the PGA, Champions, Nationwide, LPGA and Asian tours, SuperStroke and Tiger Shark putter grips have been a part of 3 victories, 24 Top 10 finishes and 39 Top 25 finishes. The victories came on the PGA Tour at the Reno-Tahoe Open by SuperStroke spokesman Matt Bettencourt, on the Champions Tour in the bag of Monday qualifier who bought the SuperStroke grip at a retail shop, and with the former PGA Champion who recently won the Korea Open. SuperStroke and Tiger Shark now have 9 victories on the PGA Tours.

Other 2010 Highlights

Over 80 PGA Tour professionals have now put SuperStroke technology into play on the PGA, Champions, Nationwide and LPGA tour's. SuperStroke and Tiger Shark Golf have combined to be the #1 jumbo putter grips at every PGA Tour event, including The Masters, the U.S. Open, the Open Championship and the PGA Championship.

Matt Bettencourt, a first time winner on the 2010 PGA Tour, finished T8th on the PGA Tour in Putts Per Round with an average of 28.46 Putts Per Round using a SuperStroke Fatso grip all season long.

KJ Choi had his best year since winning two events with his SuperStroke grip in 2007. Choi finished 15th in the FedEx Cup standings and had 9 Top 25 finishes in 2010, including a 4th place finish at The Masters, a 2nd place finish at the Transitions Championship, a T3 at the BMW Championship and a T7th at the Tour Championship.

A Monday qualifier using a SuperStroke Slim putter grip won the AT&T Championship on the Champions Tour October 31. The win was the first by a Monday qualifier on the Champions Tour in six years

A Champions Tour rookie, former major winner and 4-time Ryder Cup USA member had 11 Top 25 finishes with a combination of SuperStroke Slim and Fatso grips. The player finished 17th on the Charles Schwab Cup points in only 14 events after placing T6, T16, T14, T24, 2nd, 4th, T15, T3rd T6th, T4th, and T13th since putting a SuperStroke in play in June. He ranked 14th in Putts Per Round for the season.

Four players in the Top 30 on the final PGA Tour Fed Ex Cup standings put a SuperStroke grip into play, including the #1 overall money leader on the 2010 PGA Tour. More and more big names put a SuperStroke grip into play in 2010, with four former major winners choosing to play a SuperStroke on a regular basis.

A 15-year-old prodigy that turned pro in 2010 on the LPGA Tour finished tied for 10th at the U.S. Women's Open with a SuperStroke Slim jumbo putter grip.

Tiger Shark Golf Finishes 1st in Putting at The Masters - The player who finished tied for 14th at The Masters played a Tiger Shark Golf Great White putter and Tiger Shark oversized putter grip, leading him to only 109 total putts, and the #1 ranking in putting at the 2010 Masters. The putter and grip combination led the player to finish 3 putts better than the next closest competitor.

LPGA Hall of Famer and Tiger Shark Golf staff player Juli Inkster finished 2nd at the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia tournament. She came within inches of breaking the LPGA Tour age record at 50 years old. Inkster, who designed a women's set for Tiger Shark, had two Top finishes this year on the LPGA.
