Ishikawa fired a closing-round 67, for a 14-under 274, to claim his third win of the season by a two-stroke margin over his nearest competitor. Ishikawa had a total of seven birdies and two bogeys on Taiheiyo Club's Gotemba Course, where he closed with a birdie to secure the win and breathe new life into his bid to retain the Japan Golf Tour money title.
The victory, which was his ninth career title and third win of the 2010 season, earned Ishikawa a winner's prize of $363,500. Ishikawa plays the Srixon® Z-STAR™ XV golf ball and is currently in second place in the Japan Golf Tour's money rankings, trailing by less than $125,000, with three events remaining.
